The Mackay and District Kart Club (MKC) Inc. Rules and Guidelines are an essential resource for karters, officials, pit crews, and parents or guardians of junior drivers. These rules are designed to support fair, safe, and well-organised competition at all MKC events.
The Rules and Guidelines:
> Are to ensure all karters and their associated visitors participate in Club activities safely, fairly, and in an orderly way that promotes the sport positively.
> Cannot be modified without official authorisation from the MKC Management Committee (MKC-MC). Any updates will be communicated through official club channels.
By attending or participating in any MKC karting event, all individuals — including licensed karters, members, officials, and pit crews — acknowledge they have read and understood the MKC Rules and Guidelines and agree to comply with them.
⚠️ WARNING: Karting is a Dangerous Sport. All participants and visitors enter the venue at their own risk and should be aware of the inherent dangers associated with motorsport.
These guidelines help ensure that everyone at MKC enjoys a positive and respectful karting experience.
