How to Join the Club
Thinking of joining the thrill of karting in Mackay? Here’s everything you need to know about becoming a member of Mackay Kart Club.
🏁 About Us
Mackay Kart Club is an independent karting track, proudly affiliated with the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA). We welcome drivers from age 6 and up, and offer a friendly, competitive environment for all levels of experience.
🛠️ Membership Requirements
To use the track for racing or practice, all participants must:
*Be a financial member of Mackay Kart Club
*Hold a current AASA license
*Be at least 6 years old
💡 Track Access
Financial members enjoy the privilege of practicing at their convenience using a track key, giving you the flexibility to train on your own schedule.
📘 Race Day Classes
Race classes and event info can be found on our Class Regulations Page, Facebook page or in the rule book.

Membership & License PRICES
Mackay Kart Club is affiliated with AASA (Australian Auto-Sport Alliance) for licensing. Therefore all members are required to purchase a AASA license through MKC which is valid for 12 months.
Onboarding Requirements when joining the Club!
Welcome to the Mackay and District Kart Club (MKC)!
We’re excited to have you and your family join our karting community. To complete your onboarding and get started on track, please follow the steps below:
✅ Steps to Finalise Your Onboarding:
* Complete the Required Forms
Download and fill out the necessary below:
> MKC Membership & Licence Form (required for each member)
> MKC Medical Clearance Form (if applicable)
* Submit Forms
Send the completed and signed forms to: memberships@mackaykartclub.com
* Review Club Rules
Familiarise yourself with the MKC Rules & Guidelines, including Chapter 8 – Circuit, available on our website.
* Complete the Signal Questionnaire
Once you’re familiar with the rules, each member must complete the MKC Signal Questionnaire.
* Submit Birth Certificates
Please email copies of birth certificates for all children under 18 years of age to: memberships@mackaykartclub.com.

We are a FairPlay Registered Activity Provider
Mackay Kart Club is proud to be a FairPlay registered activity provider, helping families access the sport of karting through Queensland Government’s FairPlay program.
If you’re planning to use a FairPlay voucher to join the club, please contact us before registering through TidyHQ. This allows us to apply your voucher correctly and ensure a smooth sign-up process.
