Welcome to Mackay Kart Club – where racing meets community!
Founded with a passion for motorsport and a commitment to developing local talent, Mackay Kart Club has been the heart of karting in the Mackay region for over 30 years. We’re proud to provide a safe, inclusive, and competitive environment for drivers of all ages and experience levels.
Our track, located on Grants Road, Palmyra (Mackay) hosts regular race meets, practice days, and championship events throughout the year. Whether you’re a beginner learning the ropes or a seasoned driver chasing the podium, you’ll find a warm welcome and plenty of track time here.
Mackay Kart Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation. We’re driven by community spirit and a shared love of motorsport, always striving to grow the sport and support the next generation of drivers.

Mackay Kart Club is based in the relaxed, tropical city of Mackay on Queensland’s eastern coastline. We’re an independent club proudly affiliated with the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA), offering a welcoming environment for drivers of all ages and experience levels.
Our mission is to promote karting as a fun, accessible sport that brings people together. We’re committed to providing a safe, inclusive space where members can build skills, enjoy the thrill of racing, and form lasting friendships.
One of the unique benefits of our club is exclusive member access to practice at our track—a privilege reserved for financial racing and licensed members.

Mackay Kart Club is one of the only concrete go kart race tracks in Australia! The track is 768 metres long and 8 metres wide. The track has the capacity to cater for 30 karts and karters per race or practice session.
