A Statement from the President!

I believe that motorsport should be accessible, inclusive, and welcoming to all. I am proud to stand with a group of amazing volunteers who foster a culture that values diversity, encourages participation from all walks of life, and embraces forward-thinking approaches to community and sport.

Our club isn’t just about racing—it’s about people. We are committed to building a vibrant karting community where members feel supported, respected, and inspired to grow. Whether you’re a seasoned driver, a first-time karter, a volunteer, or a local group looking for a space to connect, our doors are open.

We actively encourage partnerships with other community organisations, offering our facilities as a shared space to learn, collaborate, and thrive together. By opening up our track to broader use, we strengthen ties within the community and create new opportunities for engagement and growth.

Together, we’re not only shaping the future of karting—we’re building a stronger, more inclusive community around it.

Looking to the Future

Member and Club Development
Ensuring that we attract new participants, helping our club grow their membership and have the systems to deliver an enhanced member experience.
Sport Promotion
Participation by inspiration – show casing karting in the local Mackay region with an aim to raise awareness of the sport through come and try days, community events and media that introduce more people to the sport.
Improve Facilities and Safety
Ongoing upgrades to our track and facilities will ensure we continue to meet high standards for safety, accessibility, and enjoyment.
Sport Development and Innovation
Inspiring the next generation of drivers is a top priority. We plan to expand our junior programs to make karting more accessible for young people and their families.

Racing isn't just a sport —
it’s a lifestyle.
